Papercutz Presents a World of Wonder for Young Readers at New York Comic Con
It’s that time of the year: The air is cooling, the leaves are falling, pumpkin spice fills the air. It can only mean one thing….New York Comic Con is here!
Join us in the Big Apple for an absolutely PACKED weekend full of creator signings, panels, giveaways, and more! You won’t want to miss us all weekend long at
Booth #3441 where we’ll be joined by our friends Gabriel Valentin (Digital Lizards of Doom), Chas! Pangburn & Kim Shearer (Double Booking), Art Baltazar (YAHGZ), John Steven Gurney (Fuzzy Baseball), and the team at Winx Club for a special 20th anniversary panel! Check out a full breakdown below:
Saturday, October 14th
In honor of their sparkling 20th anniversary, we’re honored to partner up with our friends at WINX CLUB to celebrate the occasion during THE WINX CLUB: SPARKLING 20TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION panel Saturday October 14th at 10:30am in room 406.3! Join us for a magical conversation about the glittering fashion icons and their many iterations over the years, as well as a special look at our line of WINX graphic novels across Papercutz and Maverick! We’ll also be presenting a special video presentation from Rainbow President and Founder Ignio Straffi celebrating the occasion and reflecting on the Winx Club’s journey! There may be a surprise or two in store for attendees…
But the WINX celebration doesn’t stop there! Make sure to swing by the WINX CLUB Booth #3154 to check out a catalog of exclusive merch fit for the big anniversary, including an NYCC EXCLUSIVE EDITION of our WINX CLUB VOLUME 1 graphic novel, with a beautiful gold foil cover to celebrate the milestone!
Sunday, October 15th
In honor of Family Day at NYCC, Sunday October 15th is Papercutz Day at our booth, packed with signings and giveaways from all your favorite creators, including Papercutz stickers, previews of upcoming titles, Smurfs 65th Anniversary FCBD issues (While Supplies Last), and even Fuzzy Baseball Cards!
- 10:00 am to 11:00 am/4:00 pm to 5:00 pm
Join the dynamic brother and sister duo writer team behind the upcoming educational double-adventure DOUBLE BOOKING Chas! Pangburn and Kim Shearerfor signings at our booth! They’ll be signing previews of the title ahead of its release April 2024, get your first look at NYCC! And make sure to grab a sticker of our main sibling heroes Otto, Nan, and of course Mummy Cat!

Join the musical maestro of DIGITAL LIZARDS OF DOOM Gabriel Valentin as he signs previews of his hit musical out of this world adventure ahead of its December 5th release! And make sure to grab a sticker of the sinister Warty Morda!

Join the Almighty Aw Yeah Artist Art Baltazar in the Family Headquarters Workshop Room 1E01 for a Draw With The Artists session where he’ll walk you through how he creates all those crazy Crays in YAHGZ: THE CRAYNOBI TALES! Stick around there afterwards for a special YAHGZ and GILLBERT signing as well, and if you ask nicely Art might draw a Cray or two for you!

And last but not least, join FUZZY BASEBALL head coach John Steven Gurney for a signing of every inning of the home run comedy baseball series, including some exclusive Fuzzy Baseball Cards to tie into VOLUME 5: BASEBALLOWEEN, perfect for those baseball fans who love Spooky Season in your life!
