WHAT IS WRONG WITH JOE HARDY?!

CAN FRANK HARDY SAVE HIM IN TIME?

THE HARDY BOYS THE NEW CASE FILES #1 “Crawling With Zombies” is coming soon (October 12th, to be exact), and buzz has been brewing! If you haven’t heard, comics legend Gerry Conway has taken over writing duties, and the new HARDY BOYS books will be 6 x 9, a much larger size with bigger comics! Gerry created “The Punisher” and also wrote The Amazing Spider-Man #121 “The Night Gwen Stacy Died,” one of the most revered comics of the last 40 years. We’re excited, but I don’t want to give too much away. I’ll leave you with another teaser page…

Looks pretty cool, huh? Well, you’ll have to wait until October to see the whole thing for yourself! Thanks for dropping by!

Looking forward to this, but I am sad to see Scott Lobdell leave. He had a great run on the title. Is Scott leaving the reason you decided to restart with number one or was it more a marketing thing and the size change? Will the new size be the only real difference or will there be more changes? I’m guessing this “New Case Files” and The Hardy Boys Casefiles novels from the 80s and 90s are connected in name only…?

  2. Hi Spencer,
We’re sad to see Scott leave but it has been fun turning a new page with Gerry Conway. He’s a wonderful writer with a long resume of great comics writing. He wrote the The Amazing Spider-Man #121 “The Death of Gwen Stacy” among other accomplishments. I hope you enjoy the new story lines!
Scott’s departure was one of many considerations we had when deciding to do the new series. We really like the idea of larger comics pages, and it seems like a good time to make the transition. Lastly, you are correct the “The New Case Files” and “The Hardy Boys Casefiles” are connected in name only. We’ll still be presenting all-new stories with great art from Paulo Henrique. Thanks for stopping by!
