Working on an exciting project I thought I would share with you — BIONICLE Graphic Novel #8 is going to feature ALL-NEW stories set on Bara Magna! The 75 page book will feature three new tales written by me — the first deals with the Skrall and why they moved south to the Bara Magna desert, and features the amazing menace of the baterra; the second is the story of Malum’s exile from Vulcanus; and the third looks back at the history of the planet Spherus Magna, the disastrous Shattering that destroyed it, and how Bara Magna came to be what is today. I am having great fun writing these stories, and I think you will really enjoy the book!

    Hi Racht,

Sorry I didn’t see this reply! BIONICLE #8 “Legends of Bara Magna” will be out in February 2010. I can’t tell you how much fun it is to work on this new graphic novel! We’re really excited about Greg’s stories and can’t wait for you all to see them. While waiting, you can check out BIONICLE #6 “The Underwater City” in stores in August, and BIONICLE #7 “Realm of Fear” out this November. Until then, thanks for stopping by, and watch out for Papercutz!

OMGosh hello I am a fan of your writing on the bionicle seris i enjoy reading your comics, novels, stories, and watching your movies i just got done watching your latest movie Bionicle the Legend reborn. And i loved it! I just love how you can put so many twists and turns into your writings and how you link everything together so perfectly. I have had this question that i wanted to ask you since July of 2005 about the comic seris of “Bionicle Metru Nui, Issue 25, Title The Final Battle. So i wanted to know more about the Toa Hagah and how they started out, there adventures they faced, what mask powers they have, so basically there history of them i was curious like if you will write about them? or if you could tell me about them that would be the best thing ever i would really appreciate it thank you! you can email me at jacobsnowy@live.com

It is so cool to hear that Bionicle will continue on even though the actual toy series has been retired. I have been a long time fan of the series and hope to one day own the entire collection. Is there anyway I could interview you Mr. Farshtey? I have some general knowledge questions about the series (nothing pertaining to the storyline, characters, etc.) I would love to ask you in an interview of some kind. Let me know what is the best way to get a hold of you and I would love to set something up.

    dear greg,

this might not have anything to do with your blog but I wonder if you could possibly bring out the shadowed one’s real name…. i’m very curious ’bout it.
If you don’t like to let it be known to everyone you could also tell me per e-mail, I won’t tell anyone. besides nobody in my direct invirement is interressent in what I tell.. so they wouldn’t care if I told them anyway..
